We’re looking to several roles for our upcoming no-budget short film directed by Irina Hall. The film will be shot on July 26th in Roswell, GA. This is a NON-UNION production.
Roles
MAYA (Grandmother), Female, Caucasian preferred, but any ethnicity will be considered, 50-75 years old.
JASON, Boy, Caucasian preferred, but any ethnicity will be considered, 14-16 years old.
MIA, Girl, Caucasian preferred, but any ethnicity will be considered, 2-4 years old.
ALEX, Boy or Girl, Caucasian preferred, but any ethnicity will be considered, 5-7 years old.

Plot Summary. A grandmother is having her grandkids over and trying to keep them safe during a severe thunderstorm. Not everyone in the family likes her approach.
By working on this production, both the child and the parent agree that no compensation will be provided for their participation due to its no-budget nature. The actors will be provided an appropriate film credit and a copy of the film to use in their reel. All voice actors will be provided with the copies of scenes that contain their voice acting as well as an appropriate film credit.

For MAYA and JASON, include a 30-sec dramatic or comedic monologue.
For ALEX and MIA, please record your child introducing themselves to us. Ask them so tell us their name, age, and their favorite things to do.
